Merry Prankster

Merry Prankster

Merry Prankster

I currently live in Japan, so, for obvious reasons, I have been reading a lot of books by Japanese authors and books that are about Japan (save the ninhonjinron, of course).

I tend to like `literature`, and I am overly fond of anything of the Romantic Period. As for non-fiction, I usually read books which relate to majors nobody takes seriously (linguistics, sociology, gender studies, cultural studies, and anthropology). I don`t think I have ever finished a history book that wasn`t for class. I am also afraid my reading choices have a weight limit: I rarely can be persuaded to read anything over 400 pages.

My light reading of choice is travel, fantasy, and whatever I can finish in a bookstore without having to buy.
