To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird

And if it wasn't for the book we would never have had the boo radleys' cheesy summertime pop songs :)

Let it Bleed

Let it Bleed

Rankin's rebus books are pretty much the only "series" I can actually read. Totally mind numbing entertainment, but entertainment non the less.

I am not actually too sure which particular one this is, but i am not sure it really matters as they are all pretty similar ...

good stuff though :)

Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian

Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian

I happily sit between tcook and mdixon on this - I enjoyed the book, but it didn't live up to all the hype.

It did make me chuckle quite a bit though

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency

great book, especiallly if you have always been put of reading Douglas Adams by all the hitch-hikers stuff. Definitely recommended.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Alas, i am too young to remember a version for the radio, but i do love the book - it was infact one of the first books i read and enjoyed.

Very funny on so many levels - I will never forget the lines

- "I wish I had listened to what my mother said when I was a child"
- "what did she say?"
- "I don't know, I didn't listen"

sheer genius, can't believe he is dead :(

Falling Out of Cars

Falling Out of Cars

you can normally sum up Noons books in one world. Weird.

This book however requires two. Really weird

So really weird infact that it is actually on the verge of becoming rubbish - it just doesn't have the depth of his other (slightly less strange) stuff, such as Vurt or Pollen. This was definitely a dissapointment - should have re-read Vurt instead.
