Down Where the Moon is Small
With Up Into The Singing Mountain, the prequel, this must rate as one of the best books I have read. Llewellyn has written a story about the history of the Welsh Colony in Patagonia and the destruction of the indigenous population in Argentina at the turn of the 19th/20th Century. His knowledge of the true history of the period and of the Mapuche/Araucanian people is phenomenal. It is a moving well-written story about the hero of How Green is my Valley, Huw Morgan and his life and loves in the Welsh Colony. Highly recommended. It is out of print but can be found in many websites still.
