I'm 29 and I enjoy living in Chicago even though the pace gets stressful at times. Reading helps me to stop analyzing my own predicaments and "visit" different countries since I don't travel as much as I'd like to. I think about the importance of words constantly and don't have anyone to obsess with books about. My boyfriend can keep up with me but he can only be expected to listen to my brilliant insight for so long before someone else has to fall victim. I've been casually searching for a laid-back book club where everyone can read their own book instead of there being assignments but in the meantime this website may help get some of it out of my system. My bookshelves consist of all kinds of fiction, travelogues that span the globe, and a section of nonfiction involving dream & past life research.
