Siren

Hi, I wouldn't describe myself as a big reader, I used to hate reading and the only book I could ever be bothered with was The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy which I read over and over again. Things have changed a bit now though. Since moving to London I have found that it is essential to carry a book where ever you go to help cope with the endless tube journeys.

I have now mastered the complex art of reading a book on the tube. This usually involves holding open a book with the left hand whilst the other is hanging on to the bar over head - in a sort of star fish stance. The tricky bit is trying to turn the pages with your thumb. Try it. For the advanced version try it whilst carrying a ruck sack on your back, a handbag and a plastic bag full of groceries. Not for the faint hearted. Did I mention that you have to do all of this with your head in someone elses armpit?
