Princess Bride
William Goldman
A commemorative edition to mark the 25th anniversary of its publication. A classic tale of pirates, evil princes, sorcerers and true love. With a new introduction and the first chapter of the novel's sequel, BUTTERCUP'S BABY.

This is a very silly, but very enjoyable book. It isn't as immersive as the fantasy I usually like (there doesn't seem to be much in the way of history, linguistics, legend, infrastructure or descriptive sensuality), but because of this, you tumble along at high speed with the narrative.
Well worth a look, and if you can catch the film, have a look at that too. Camp entertainment!
