Bridget Jones
Helen Fielding
At the end of Bridget Jones's Diary, Bridget hiccuped off into the sunset with man-of-her-dreams Mark Darcy. Now she discovers what it is like when you have the man of your dreams actually in your flat and he doesn't do the washing up, not just the whole of this week, but ever.

Boys can enjoy it! I read it on holiday when it first came out - and it did make me laugh at the time but it's a silly beach read and not much more. If girls' lives are really this shallow then we must really be in trouble.
I loved it. Both the books. It was like somebody was reading your mind. The story of every girl, any girl. I recommended it to several girl friends, of course, guys would not be able to relate to it. It is a must read!
As perfect as chick lit will ever get. Based on the outline of one of the all time classics and still thoroughly modern. My girlfriends and I passed it all over Washington, D.C. from one girl to the next and we were all howling with laughter and understanding. God bless Helen Fielding.
