Read it at school and loved it - for the atmosphere of the roaring 20s and the romance - nothing to do with the fact that Robert Redford played the title role in the movie!
Just the ultimate love story - what else can you say? Except go on to Read Wuthering Heights, Tess of the D'Ubervilles and Rebecca and hava a good weep?
Because I am still trying to give up chocolate - this is the book that's currently on my bedside table!
