Posted by Hoke Mosely (1 year ago ) They tried to ban it because of its violent, noir outlook, and thank Christ they failed because HackMan Blues is a brilliant piece of 90's noir. Stylised, dark and with a scunner of an ending, this is the best introduction to Ken Bruen, one of the most underrated (by the buying public) modern noir writers.
