Watchmen
Alan Moore
Imagine a future where Nixon is still President, America won the Vietnam War, and the nuclear clock stands at five minutes to midnight.

Wonderful. I love Alan Moore. This graphic novel was so touching.
My first graphic novel too; read it in '91.
It was during my one and only prison sentence, and the book did the rounds. Everyone who read it raved about it, and it was finally given to me. I was truly grateful to escape into it, and have pushed it onto people ever since, even though I am still not a great fan of the genre.
danger in making the film at all. Alan Moore also wrote League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and From Hell, and we all know what happened with those. (And if you don't, it only further proves the point.) Though I did hear Moore was going to have more of a hands on role with this one.
God were those two bad, but I quite like V For Vendatta.
I think Alan Moore has said on several occasions that he will have nothing to do with any of the movies, he won't have his name on them and he won't take the money.
I thought they did a good job with V of Vendatta, the effects where very good. fun watching big ben being destroyed
