Posted by SoulCircus (1 year ago ) Abrahams is almost unknown on these shores - but God knows why, because he is a superb suspense writer. This is my fave of his, the love story is convincing and heartbreaking, and the two strands of the novel come together in devastating fashion. Listen to that dialogue as well, its pitch perfect. Surely recognition must beckon.
