Posted by Jack-Cade (51 weeks ago ) I really loved this when I was a teenager - it's pretty unusual to get learned, philosophical slapstick humour in a book. Now I'm older though, I find it a bit light. Just changing tastes, I guess.

The stories are based around Dirk - who unsuprisingly is a "holistic" detective. Cue many wierd and wonderfull situations that could only have come from the mind of Douglas Adams ...
