Oscar Wilde
Frank Harris
As editor of "The Fortnightly Review", Harris published some of Wilde's greatest work and knew Wilde personally - understanding him both emotionally and professionally. But Harris was also Wilde's friend so that this biography of Wilde's life and work provides a personal view of the writer.

Very entertaining, but Harris is, how should I put this, somewhat economical with the truth. This is also the most self-aggrandising book you're likely to read this side of Piers Morgan. He was a real character, clearly.
